Ce vin est un assemblage de pinot noir de Gamaret et de Garanoir et Merlot Domaine du vieux moulin, A. Derron et Fils, Môtier, élevé en fût de chêne durant dix-huit mois.
Belle robe sombre légèrement brillante. Le premier nez montre que ce vin a été élevé en fûts. Un très fin toasté domine. Par la suite, ce sont des fruits noirs qui apparaissent, très mûrs, presque compotés : sureau, mûre tout particulièrement. La bouche est bâtie sur de beaux tanins fins et soyeux. Ils sont denses, mais le vin est souple et frais, de belle longueur (accompagnée d’une discrète note épicée). Un bien joli vin du Vully, élevé avec beaucoup de maitrise et de doigté.
